Can i loose my car by reporting it?

i bought a car in april i was told nothing was wrong with it only to find out after i bought it it wanted work doing i took it garage to have the abs and airbag done they put it on the jack, jack went up car didn't the floor was rotten headlights packed up then an oil leak there was a drum missing from the back wheel n the airbag didn't work all the jobs are done all but 1 if i report it to trading standards will i loose my car m.o.t was in dec so shouldn't the floor have failed cos the garage said its been like it a while i drove to alton towers with the car like this i was told it could of killed us i also have a baby in the car what are my rights?
