Do I send my TOEFL scores to McGill university even if I hadn't applied yet ?

Hey, I'm having a TOEFL test in a few days. While I was registering, I was asked to put score recipients if I wanted to; but can I do so even if I didn't apply yet to my university (McGill) ? I'm applying this fall 2011 and I really don't know where my scores go if I send them NOW, like I don't have an open application yet. Can I link the scores later ? When ? Please answer all these questions, I'm reeaaally lost :P Thanks :D
