Why does it seem like all guys do this?

My ex-boyfriend called me than said we should break up...and tha day before seems like everything we goin fine like i didn't see any signs...then tha next day he didn't say one word to me and he was laughin with hes friends more and happy & ish...Than the next day after that everytime he saw me he would say hi. or say somthing nice..than he started actin like he still has feelings for me...and tlking to me in a flirty way...than i got confused and started not tlkin to him like that and jus hi and bye...and now we not tlking at all but....idk he's so damn confusin...and he looks at me like he wanna say something..it's a long story..and we finally talked after like weeks and I said we haven't tlked in forever and he said yeah well i haven't been tlking to alot of ppl...than i said so im one of them...and he was like yeah but your one of the girls that i mostly tlk to...Does that make sence?
